How It Works
The Deltek connector for clients just using Shred brings your Project, Employee, and Role data from Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint (Cloud) into Shred Chat. We are using OpenAsset connection to ingests and structure this data so Shred can surface it intelligently in conversation.
During implementation, your OpenAsset solutions team configures field mappings to match your Deltek terminology, so the data in Shred feels native to how your firm works.
What You Can Do
Shred Chat excels at two things: finding relevant content from your Deltek data, and helping you generate first-draft text grounded in that data.
Finding Existing Content
Use Shred Chat with Deltek data to surface project details and staff experience.

Known Limitations
There are a few behaviors to be aware of before you get started:
Curated Assets, Reference Links, and Recommended Projects may appear in your Shred experience. Clicking these will route you to an OpenAsset login screen. As a Shred Only customer with the Deltek connector, you will not have OpenAsset credentials — this is expected behavior, not an error. Return to Shred Chat to continue your workflow.
Data scope is limited to what was mapped during implementation. Shred Chat can only engage with the Deltek data that was mapped as part of implementation. The integration covers Deltek Project, Employee, and Role data only, and coverage depends on the field mappings configured for your account. If you are chatting and not seeing the results you expected, it may be because that data has not been synced yet.
The ability to sync Go/No-Go functionality from Deltek is not supported in this integration.
Getting Started
Your Deltek data is available in Shred Chat as soon as your implementation is complete. No additional login or credentials are required to use it.
