Sorting Your Proposal Library

You can sort your Proposal Library by the below criteria, allowing you to organize your entire archive just like you do with Pursuits.

  • Proposal Name

  • Status

  • Client

  • Submitted Date

  • Uploaded Date

Understanding Uploaded Date vs. Submitted Date

When sorting proposals by date, it’s helpful to know the difference between the two date fields available:

Uploaded Date
This is the timestamp showing when the proposal file was uploaded to Shred. It is automatically captured by the system.

Submitted Date
This is an optional field your team can fill in to reflect the actual date the proposal was submitted to the client. This is especially useful when uploading historical proposals, since the uploaded date will reflect the day you added it to Shred - not when it was originally submitted.

If the Submitted Date field hasn’t been filled in, it will match the Uploaded Date by default, which may result in both dates looking the same when sorting.

Note:
Submitted Date is not yet read by AI or used in search results, but it can be used for sorting in the Proposal Library.
